Senior Java Backend Developer – JSF & Azure Expertise

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with more than 10 years of experience designing, developing and maintaining enterprise‑grade applications for the leasing, financial services or banking sector. The role requires deep hands‑on expertise in Java 21+, Spring Boot 3.x and JSF (Jakarta Faces) together with strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, DevOps practices, PowerShell scripting and AI‑assisted development using GitHub Copilot. The successful candidate will work independently, collaborate with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams, and deliver scalable, secure, cloud‑native solutions in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement micro‑services architectures using Java, Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Write clean, automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Optimize application performance and conduct thorough profiling.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and Azure cloud best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Proven expertise with Java 21+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data JPA) and JSF/JoinFaces.
• Strong background in Azure services (App Services, AKS, Key Vault, Monitor) and container orchestration.
• Hands‑on experience with PowerShell scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent English (C1) and ability to work autonomously in an agile setting.
