About the role
We are seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to lead our Austrian market activities from Zurich. You will be responsible for managing national retail customers, driving commercial performance, and owning P&L results to support sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage key national customer accounts, building strong, consistent relationships.
- Plan, track, and ensure compliance with budgets, annual agreements, and listings.
- Lead regular customer interactions, including annual business reviews.
- Monitor and achieve sales and contribution margin targets.
- Analyze and improve sales and profitability performance.
- Optimize distribution, assortment, placement, and pricing strategies.
- Design, evaluate, and enhance promotional activities to drive growth.
- Execute business strategies aligned with key account objectives.
- Develop deep understanding of customer needs and market trends, sharing insights internally.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field (or equivalent).
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Category Management or Trade Marketing.
- At least 2 years of Key Account Management experience within FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of the Austrian retail landscape and key decision‑makers.
- Business‑fluent German and English.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience with Nielsen data analysis.
- Experience with GfK data analysis.
