About the role

We are seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to lead our Austrian market activities from Zurich. You will be responsible for managing national retail customers, driving commercial performance, and owning P&L results to support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage key national customer accounts, building strong, consistent relationships.
  • Plan, track, and ensure compliance with budgets, annual agreements, and listings.
  • Lead regular customer interactions, including annual business reviews.
  • Monitor and achieve sales and contribution margin targets.
  • Analyze and improve sales and profitability performance.
  • Optimize distribution, assortment, placement, and pricing strategies.
  • Design, evaluate, and enhance promotional activities to drive growth.
  • Execute business strategies aligned with key account objectives.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer needs and market trends, sharing insights internally.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field (or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Category Management or Trade Marketing.
  • At least 2 years of Key Account Management experience within FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of the Austrian retail landscape and key decision‑makers.
  • Business‑fluent German and English.

Required skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Nielsen data analysis.
  • Experience with GfK data analysis.
