About the role
The Senior Lead - Global Distribution Center (DC) Network Strategy is a strategic leader in the Global Distribution & Logistics team responsible for long‑term distribution network planning and optimization. The role leads a small team of experts to strategize, plan, and optimize our global DC and logistics footprint, securing premium customer experience at the most optimized spend while ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, governance and future‑ready evolution of On’s global DC network strategy, aligning it with long‑range planning, commercial goals and regional demand.
- Oversee comprehensive network studies, expansion planning and scenario modelling to balance cost‑to‑serve with premium customer experience across channels.
- Support logistics procurement and RFP processes, defining project scopes, standardising data frameworks and assessing 3PL capabilities.
- Develop and maintain a multi‑tiered forecasting framework for capacity management and drive contingency planning for network resilience.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience in supply‑chain network design, logistics capacity planning or a similar analytical role, preferably in fast‑paced retail or consumer goods.
- Strong analytical mindset with deep understanding of network modelling methodology and industry‑standard design tools.
- Proven track record leading large‑scale RFPs, 3PL solution design and data‑standardisation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to collaborate with diverse regional and functional stakeholders.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing high‑performing teams; fluency in English.
Required skills
- Coupa Supply Chain Design (formerly LLamasoft) or equivalent network modelling tools.
- Advanced network modelling and scenario analysis.
- 3PL solution design and capacity planning.
- Data standardisation and structured data frameworks.
