Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our global legal team at our corporate headquarters in Zurich. This position offers the chance to apply law‑firm experience in an in‑house environment within the chocolate and cocoa industry.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general legal advice and proactively manage legal and regulatory risks for Switzerland and the Global Cocoa & Sourcing organization.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts related to sourcing, manufacturing, supply and distribution.
• Oversee litigation and commercial disputes, and support corporate housekeeping, claims management and contract lifecycle processes.
• Assist in implementing the Group’s ESG and sustainability strategy.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in an internationally oriented law firm or multinational company, preferably in food, manufacturing, commodity trading or sourcing.
• Master’s degree in law; Swiss bar exam preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss corporate law and contract drafting.
• High professional ethics, analytical and conceptual skills, and ability to simplify complex matters.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all organizational levels.
