Senior Manager, Preclinical Project Management & Translational Science

About the role

HAYA Therapeutics seeks a senior leader to drive cross‑functional project management of IND‑enabling preclinical programs. You will operate with high autonomy, coordinating vendors and internal teams to ensure timely milestone delivery and regulatory readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational planning and problem‑solving for toxicology, pharmacokinetics, and in‑vivo efficacy studies, delivering high‑quality workflows at pace.
• Manage relationships with external CROs, aligning complex testing timelines, contract deliverables, and program budgets.
• Implement project‑management best practices, tracking tools, and dashboards to provide visibility on timelines, dependencies, and resources.
• Coordinate with preclinical, clinical operations, and regulatory teams to ensure readiness for global filings and seamless handoffs.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving complex project‑management frameworks in biotech, pharma, or CRO environments.
• Deep operational insight into IND‑enabling study execution, especially toxicology, PK, and in‑vivo pharmacology.
• Strong ability to anticipate obstacles, coordinate cross‑functional workstreams, and maintain data integrity.

Required skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Advanced proficiency with industry‑standard Project and Portfolio Management software.
• Working knowledge of GLP compliance, ICH guidelines, and IND Module 4 documentation assembly.
