About the role
We are looking for a Senior Murex Treasury Business Analyst to join a specialised team focused on transforming and optimising treasury functions within a complex banking environment. The role will drive the design and deployment of Treasury capabilities on Murex MX.3, ensuring functional alignment across Front Office, Risk, Finance, Accounting and Operations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement Treasury processes in Murex MX.3 covering funding, liquidity, banking‑book risk and collateral optimisation.
- Define cash‑management models, overnight financing, liquidity projections and flow reconciliations.
- Participate in building and integrating Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) models with Finance systems and performance reporting tools.
- Maintain a consolidated view of securities and cash inventories, considering settlement constraints and available balances.
- Support hedge‑accounting set‑up, efficiency testing and related accounting reconciliations.
- Oversee collateral, repo, securities‑lending and margin‑call workflows, ensuring eligibility and allocation rules are met.
- Integrate external market and post‑trade platforms for data exchange, lifecycle tracking and reconciliations.
- Contribute to all project phases: scoping, configuration, migration, testing, production rollout, post‑deployment support and incident resolution.
Required profile
- Proven expertise with Murex MX.3, specialised in Treasury and deep knowledge of Fixed Income, interest‑rate derivatives, money‑market products and securities financing.
- Strong understanding of liquidity management, collateral handling, funding, securities inventory and associated accounting.
- Significant experience leading large‑scale Murex projects covering the full front‑to‑back chain.
- Hands‑on experience with repo, triparty, securities finance, cash management and hedge accounting.
- Familiarity with market and post‑trade platform interfaces and reconciliation mechanisms.
- Ability to coordinate business and technical stakeholders in an international, cross‑functional context.
- Experience in global, multi‑entity, multi‑currency and multi‑regulatory banking environments is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills, autonomy and capability to solve complex, multi‑system issues.
