Senior .NET Software Engineer – Front Office Trading

About the role

We are seeking a senior .NET Software Engineer to join the front‑office technology team in Geneva. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining applications that interface with energy markets and support trading activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain .NET‑based applications for energy market interfacing.
• Collaborate with traders and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Handle large volumes of data and ensure high performance and reliability of trading systems.
• Contribute to UI development using modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial experience with .NET and C#.
• Proven experience working on complex, data‑intensive systems, preferably in trading or finance.
• Exposure to front‑end development with React or Angular is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
