Senior PCB Layout Designer (Space & Satellite)

About the role

Coris Innovation, a consulting firm specializing in systems engineering and industrial processes, is looking for an experienced Senior PCB Layout Engineer to support advanced satellite and space communication programs. You will design and lay out high-reliability electronic boards for space or satellite environments, working closely with hardware, RF and systems engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform PCB layout design for complex electronic boards used in satellite systems
• Translate schematics into robust layouts with hardware, RF and systems engineers
• Manage high-speed, high-density, mixed-signal and RF layouts
• Ensure compliance with space/satellite constraints (EMC, signal integrity, thermal, reliability)
• Apply DFM / DFA / DFT best practices
• Take part in design reviews and technical discussions
• Use Altium Designer and Altium 365 for collaborative design and data management
• Contribute to continuous improvement of layout standards and methodologies

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience as a PCB Layout Engineer in aerospace, satellite, defense or high-reliability electronics
• Ability to work in international, multidisciplinary teams
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Nice to have: space-qualified or satellite-grade hardware experience, knowledge of ECSS or equivalent aerospace standards, experience with rigid-flex PCBs, and exposure to constellation or telecom satellite programs
