Senior Pharmacometrician – Oncology & Antibiotics

About the role

Join Debiopharm to lead pharmacometrics activities for innovative oncology and antibiotic programs. You will apply state‑of‑the‑art PK/PD and disease‑progression modeling to accelerate drug development and support regulatory submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and oversee pharmacometrics analyses from non‑clinical to clinical stages, focusing on oncology projects.
• Develop population PK (POPPK), PK/PD, exposure‑response, disease‑progression, and trial simulation models in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to model‑informed drug development strategies and optimal trial design.
• Prepare documentation for internal use and regulatory interactions, and present results to cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in scientific communications, publications, and conferences.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent in pharmacometrics, mathematics, statistics or related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in industry or academia, preferably with oncology exposure.
• Strong understanding of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, GCP/GCLP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating across functions.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with population PK/PD software (Monolix, NONMEM).
• Proficient programming in R and Python.
• Familiarity with PBPK tools (SimCYP, PK‑Sim, Gastro‑Plus) is a plus.
