Senior Private Funds Structuring Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a senior private funds lawyer to join a leading global private investment manager’s fund structuring team in Zug. The role combines high‑level legal drafting with live transaction execution for private‑markets products offered worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own, draft, develop and maintain fund formation templates and documentation standards used across the business globally.
• Draft, review and negotiate fund formation and separate‑account documentation for live transactions.
• Train, supervise and develop junior lawyers in fund formation drafting, negotiation and execution.

Required profile

• 10+ years post‑qualification experience as a private funds lawyer with a European market focus.
• Experience in both a leading law firm and an in‑house legal department.
• Strong understanding of private‑markets fund structures in jurisdictions such as Luxembourg, Delaware, Cayman Islands or Guernsey.
• Ability to identify, manage and coordinate legal and regulatory issues for globally offered products, especially in a European context.
