Senior Product Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer to shape the core experience of a fast‑moving product platform in Switzerland. You will work closely with product and design teams to turn complex technical concepts into intuitive, high‑performance interfaces for both technical and non‑technical users.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly performant, scalable user‑facing applications using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into polished user experiences.
• Design frontend architectures that enable rapid iteration while ensuring stability and maintainability.
• Optimize performance by identifying bottlenecks and improving rendering and responsiveness.
• Develop reusable UI components and patterns for consistent product development.
• Participate in architectural decisions and define engineering standards.
• Ship quickly in a feedback‑driven environment and iterate based on user input.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, primarily in modern web application development.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, REST APIs, and CSS.
• Proven track record building and scaling user‑facing applications in startup or fast‑paced environments.
• Strong focus on UI/UX quality and frontend performance optimization.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across product, design, and engineering.
