Senior Product Owner Advanced Analytics

About the role

The Advanced Analytics team at Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals Division's (EPD) headquarters in Basel is building a data-driven organization using data, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. As Senior Product Owner Advanced Analytics, you will lead the identification, development and adoption of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions across EPD, working with stakeholders from Market Insights, Market Access, Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial Operations. The role bridges business strategy and analytics execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the advanced analytics product portfolio and roadmap, and turn business challenges into scalable analytics solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, coach stakeholders on data-driven decision-making and drive adoption through change management
• Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists and data engineers, manage the full product lifecycle and run agile sprints
• Define user journeys and business requirements, and ensure solutions are scalable and fit for end users
• Set up governance, monitor performance and value, and ensure compliance with privacy, security and enterprise standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences or a related field
• 5-7 years of Product Owner or Product Management experience in advanced analytics, data science, AI, digital or data transformation
• Proven track record of delivering machine learning and data science initiatives
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in agile environments and driving organizational change
• Fluent English; healthcare or pharmaceuticals experience is an advantage

Required skills

• Strong understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, advanced analytics methods, cloud technologies and data ecosystems
• Project planning and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Teams
• Ability to communicate data technologies to complex international organizations
