Senior Program Lead – Mainframe Transformation

About the role
This contract position is based on‑site in Switzerland and focuses on leading a critical, enterprise‑wide mainframe transformation programme. You will own the initiative from scoping through deployment and service transition, working closely with senior executives and cross‑functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of a large‑scale, business‑critical transformation programme.
- Own programme governance, risk management, dependencies, financials and executive reporting.
- Define scope, requirements, testing and deployment strategies.
- Direct geographically dispersed teams and external vendors.
- Act as the primary interface for senior stakeholders and steering committees.
Required profile
- 15+ years of delivery leadership on complex, enterprise‑wide programmes.
- Strong mainframe technical background; mainframe modernisation experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead in legacy IT environments.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
