Senior Project Manager Maintenance Transformation

About the role

Entourage Pharma Consulting AG is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a company‑wide maintenance transformation programme. The role covers the full value chain, from master data and asset structure to compliance and data integrity, ensuring a robust, data‑driven maintenance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Steer the end‑to‑end transformation programme across all functional areas, defining roadmap, milestones, escalation procedures and governance reporting.
• Build a solid data foundation including naming conventions, asset hierarchy, CMMS configuration and standardised roles and processes.
• Design and implement a scalable maintenance execution model, improving notification quality, digital support, material reservation and revision optimisation.
• Introduce cost transparency and KPI‑based performance management for the entire maintenance value chain.
• Embed Risk‑Based Maintenance (RBM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as systematic methods to reduce failures and increase reliability.
• Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams (maintenance, procurement, IT, QA/QE) and manage external partners and internal stakeholders at all levels.

Required profile

• University degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in engineering, natural sciences, pharmacy or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of project‑management experience in the pharmaceutical or life‑science industry.
• Proven track record of planning, steering and delivering complex, company‑wide transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical maintenance processes and GMP/compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable with board‑level and operational audiences.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
