Senior Python Engineer (Remote, EU/LATAM)

About the role

Windsor.ai is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to own and evolve the core of its data integration platform. You will work on high‑traffic Python services, API connectors, and the reliability of a system that synchronises data from 300+ sources to dozens of destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise Python services that drive data synchronisation and transformation.
• Develop new third‑party connectors and enhance existing ones, handling authentication, rate‑limiting, pagination and schema variations.
• Improve scalability, performance and reliability of production systems (concurrency, monitoring, incident prevention).
• Write well‑tested code using pytest and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Participate in two‑week sprints, adapt priorities quickly, and collaborate with a fully remote, async‑friendly team.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Proven experience building and maintaining complex, production‑grade systems.
• Strong background integrating third‑party APIs (auth flows, rate limits, pagination, error handling).
• Deep understanding of Python fundamentals, OOP, and concurrency (threads/async).
• Comfortable working in Linux‑based development and production environments.
• Working knowledge of SQL, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and willingness to complete a background check.
