Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our small, dynamic QA team in Zurich. You will ensure the quality and reliability of our custom‑built order management, infrastructure and risk‑management platforms within a fast‑paced Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for UI and API testing.
• Drive continuous improvement of test automation, CI/CD pipelines, test coverage and release processes.
• Manage release testing, execute manual tests, review automated results and analyse performance test data.
• Investigate logs, report defects and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings to development teams.
• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure product meets requirements and end‑user expectations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, both manual and automated.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python for building test frameworks.
• Proven ability to design scalable test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience testing REST APIs and micro‑services.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD integration and Agile development processes.
