Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

Jet Aviation is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality and safety initiatives across its aviation operations. You will work closely with operational teams, authorities and OEMs to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits, manage corrective actions and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Lead MEDA and occurrence investigations, identify root causes and improve human‑factors error management.
• Perform Part 145 certifying staff assessments and promote a proactive quality culture.
• Monitor regulatory changes, evaluate impact and support implementation of solutions.
• Develop and improve quality and safety procedures, workflows and documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or aeronautical engineering, or ICAO aircraft maintenance/pilot licence.
• At least ten years of maintenance, production or design experience in aviation.
• Extensive experience with Part 145 certifying staff assessments.
• Formal qualifications in QMS, SMS, auditing, MEDA investigation and Human Factors.

Required skills

• EASA Part 145, Part M, Part 21G, Part 21J, Part 66, Part 147 knowledge.
• ISO 9000, EN 9100, EN 9110 auditing concepts.
• Human Factors, SMS, MEDA, MOE, POE methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and report‑writing abilities.
