Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

A foreign corporation with a promising production programme is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer. The role covers monitoring and resolving customer complaints, supporting process and product development, and working closely with production, purchasing, engineering, R&D and planning.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse customer complaints and define measures to resolve them
• Support process and product development, assess high-risk manufacturing processes and create and update quality management documentation
• Resolve complaints and quality issues in the manufacturing process
• Analyse KPIs and report on them
• Measure parts with assigned instruments and handle materials
• Carry out FMEA analyses and collaborate on quality improvement and 5S
• Introduce new products and coordinate with production, purchasing, engineering, R&D and planning
• Take part in internal and external audits, MDI meetings, business trips and inventory counts, and propose process improvements

Required profile

• Education: secondary school-leaving exam, higher professional education, university (Bachelor's or Master's) or postgraduate (doctorate)
• 3 years of work experience at a production company (required)
• Active knowledge of English (B2); German preferred
• Experience handling customer complaints preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; basic SAP Quality Management (QM)

• Gross wage of 2,330 EUR per month, with a variable evaluation of 0-8% of the base salary, a monthly attendance bonus of 0-100 EUR and a loyalty bonus
