Senior Recipe Formulation Specialist

About the role

As a Senior Recipe Formulation Specialist you will lead the development and optimisation of food recipes from concept through industrialisation, ensuring robust, scalable formulations that meet quality and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain recipe formulation capabilities for new product development, industrialisation and continuous optimisation.
• Drive best practices in recipe design to improve quality, speed to market and first‑time‑right approvals.
• Translate ingredient behaviour, process limits and product variability into lean, reliable recipes.
• Lead the adoption of digital tools for recipe and ingredient management.
• Collaborate across product, process, quality and manufacturing teams to improve data quality and workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of food science, food technology and nutrition.
• Experience applying analytical thinking, conceptual problem‑solving and basic statistical methods to enhance recipe robustness.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders and communicate complex topics clearly.
• Fluent English communication skills.
