Senior SAP ABAP Developer (Hybrid, Zurich)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join a leading SAP software company. The role is permanent, full‑time and based near Zurich with a hybrid working model. You will work on cutting‑edge SAP solutions for an international client base.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise SAP solutions using modern ABAP.
• Develop complex applications with ABAP Objects and clean development principles.
• Design and implement robust software architectures and technical concepts.
• Develop and integrate SAP applications within SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environments.
• Build and enhance SAP Fiori applications and user interfaces.
• Develop solutions leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Collaborate closely with product management, consultants, and customers to deliver innovative solutions.
• Support customers with technical analysis, troubleshooting, and product enhancements.
• Contribute to software quality, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.
• Strong expertise in ABAP Objects and object‑oriented development.
• Experience developing solutions for SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Experience developing or extending SAP Fiori applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and SAP development best practices.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Independent, proactive, and quality‑focused approach.
• Fluent C1+ German and good English language skills.
