Senior Security Engineer – Isovalent

About the role

As a Senior Security Engineer you will ensure Isovalent follows industry‑leading security practices throughout its software development lifecycle. You will work closely with development, release and security teams across Cisco to embed robust vulnerability detection and remediation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build, deploy and tune security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, cloud security, LLM‑based scanners) to focus on high‑value signals.
• Tri­age findings from multiple sources, including fuzzers, pentests and external reports, and drive remediation.
• Continuously improve security processes, metrics and documentation to prioritize the most impactful issues.

Required profile

• Technical background in information security with strong Linux security knowledge.
• Proven experience leading security projects from design through delivery.
• Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Automation using Go, Python, Bash or IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with SAST/DAST scanners, fuzzers and integrating LLMs into security pipelines.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
