Senior Security Engineer - Isovalent

About the role

You will ensure Isovalent applies industry‑leading security practices throughout its software development lifecycle. This includes building and deploying tools to detect vulnerabilities, tuning them for high‑value signals, and providing consistent security processes across product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging findings from LLMs, SAST/DAST scanners, cloud security tools, external reports and pentests.
• Continuously improving security processes and metrics to focus on high‑impact issues.
• Partnering with development, release, and Cisco security teams to address vulnerabilities promptly and document security posture.

Required profile

• Technical background in information security with strong Linux security knowledge.
• Experience automating security processes using Go, Python, Bash or IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Proven ability to lead security projects from design to delivery.
• Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
