Senior Site Reliability Engineer (B2B Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on a B2B contract to join a global engineering team supporting mission‑critical healthcare and pharmaceutical platforms. The role focuses on designing, maintaining and optimizing highly reliable cloud‑native infrastructure that powers essential medical operations worldwide. You will work remotely, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive reliability, automation and observability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead reliability and operational excellence initiatives across critical production platforms and cloud services.
• Define, monitor and improve SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, availability targets and error budgets.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient and secure cloud‑native architectures.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD best practices.
• Build and maintain observability solutions including monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting.
• Drive incident response, root‑cause analysis and post‑mortem processes.
• Improve operational maturity through automation, documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with global engineering, security, product and vendor teams.
• Perform capacity planning, performance optimisation and system reliability analysis.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing across technical teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering or DevOps.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS; experience with Azure or GCP is a plus.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based development workflows.
• Experience defining and operating SLOs, SLIs, SLAs and error budgets.
• Strong background in observability and monitoring tools.
