Senior Software Engineer (Full‑Stack, AI‑First)

About the role

We are looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to own problems from the database to the user experience on our Fleet360 SaaS platform. This is a high‑ownership, remote position where you will shape solutions, make architectural decisions, and help us become an AI‑first engineering organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end, from idea through production, across front‑end, APIs, business logic, databases and integrations.
• Design and build scalable back‑end services in Node.js and TypeScript, and create responsive, maintainable front‑end experiences.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools daily to accelerate coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Improve engineering processes by experimenting with AI‑enabled workflows and sharing best practices.

Required profile

• 5–7+ years of professional software engineering with real ownership of production systems.
• Full‑stack mindset: comfortable moving between browser, API, database, infrastructure and third‑party integrations.
• Strong product focus, able to think about outcomes for fleet managers, parts clerks and technicians.
• Enjoy healthy conflict, take initiative and care deeply about client safety.

Required skills

• Node.js and TypeScript at production scale.
• Deep relational database expertise: schema design, SQL optimization and performance troubleshooting.
• Vue.js (front‑end framework) and general front‑end architecture.
• AI‑assisted development workflow with coding agents and rigorous evaluation.
• Experience with messaging/queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS).
• Containerisation and cloud‑native deployment (Docker, AWS ECS/EKS, Kubernetes).
• Observability practices: logs, metrics, tracing, APM.
• CI/CD and automated testing fundamentals.
