Senior Software Systems Engineer - Web Security

About the role

Senior Software Systems Engineer – Web Security will design, develop, and operate globally deployed web security services for Open Systems' Autonomous SASE platform, protecting organizations in over 180 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate highly scalable web security services.
• Drive observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational excellence across web security services.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership from concept through production and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineers across networking, security, cloud, and platform teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS) and network security principles.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX systems and cloud‑native/containerized environments.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Python or Bash scripting.
• Go, C++, or Rust programming.
