Senior Solution Engineer (Zurich)

About the role

Snowflake is looking for a Senior Solution Engineer based in or commutable to Zurich to solve our Swiss customers' most complex data challenges. You will partner closely with the sales team and channel partners, understand customer needs, and guide them through the evaluation process to adopt Snowflake as their data platform.

Key responsibilities

• Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Work hands‑on with prospects and customers to demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle, from demos to proof‑of‑concepts and implementations.
• Create and develop technical champions within accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
• Stay at the cutting edge of Snowflake technology, presenting roadmap features and functionality.
• Maintain deep knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies to position Snowflake effectively.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and ecosystem partners to co‑develop solutions and account strategies.

Required profile

• Solution engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or related data‑analytics industry.
• Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and ability to solve customer‑specific business problems.
• Fluency in German and English (additional French or Italian a plus).
