Senior Strategy Consultant - Bank Finance Transformation

About the role

SAP Fioneer is looking for a Senior Strategy Consultant for bank finance transformation. You will join a global team that creates value for banking clients through finance and risk transformation initiatives, working closely with senior client stakeholders such as CFOs and finance leadership teams. The role suits strategy consultants who combine banking finance expertise with a solid understanding of technology-enabled transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic workstreams in finance and risk transformation programs for banks and other financial institutions
• Advise banking CFOs on financial steering, performance management, planning, reporting and finance operating model transformation
• Turn complex business challenges into practical solutions, target operating models and implementation roadmaps
• Work with product, technology, architecture and delivery teams to deliver transformation initiatives
• Support client engagements from opportunity shaping through implementation, including interaction with senior executives and C-level stakeholders
• Share thought leadership on banking finance, risk management, data-driven performance steering and transformation trends
• Help define and evolve SAP Fioneer's finance and risk transformation offerings for banking clients

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, preferably with financial institutions or banking clients
• Experience in banking finance functions, CFO organizations or finance transformation programmes
• Strong understanding of banking finance processes such as financial planning, controlling, performance management, reporting or finance data and analytics
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives, including operating model design, process optimisation and technology implementation
• Fluent English; German is a plus

Required skills

• Interest in digital transformation, FinTech, SaaS solutions or enterprise platforms
• Ability to bridge business and technology topics and communicate with both business and technical stakeholders
