Senior System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our globally operating consulting & business services firm. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting both on‑premises and cloud infrastructure for our clients, ensuring high availability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and support on‑premises and Microsoft Azure hybrid cloud environments.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts for automation.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Monitor infrastructure security, compliance, performance and availability.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, operational issues and participate in migration and modernization projects.
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to operational knowledge bases.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration or cloud operations.
• Fluent in Swiss German and English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
• Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, AZ‑900) are desirable.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland (Swiss national, EU citizen or valid work permit).
