Senior System Engineer – Microsoft & Citrix

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to lead technical projects across Microsoft and Citrix environments. You will be responsible for migrations, modernizations, lifecycle upgrades, and ongoing operations, ensuring sustainable and secure infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement Microsoft server and Active Directory solutions.
• Deploy and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Gateway, and Citrix ADC.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support, perform root‑cause analysis and resolve complex incidents.
• Drive automation, standardisation and documentation of solutions and operational processes.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation approximately every two months.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to analyse, design, review and document complex environments.

Required profile

• Completed IT training or qualification (EFZ, HF, FH or equivalent).
• Willingness to undergo a security clearance check and provide a criminal record extract.
• Strong service orientation, high independence and personal accountability.
• Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Several years of experience as a System Engineer in Microsoft environments.
