Senior Systems Engineer – Renewable Energy & Networks

About the role

Our client, a leading energy company in Switzerland, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design and implement innovative renewable energy solutions. You will work on wind, photovoltaic, micro‑grid, storage and electrical network projects that shape the future of clean energy supply.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and size infrastructure for wind farms and photovoltaic systems, with a focus on PV installations.
• Design and plan micro‑grids and self‑consumption solutions for community projects.
• Create concepts for battery storage systems.
• Plan, design and dimension medium‑ and high‑voltage networks, including transformers, lines and coupling stations.
• Coordinate authorization procedures with regulatory bodies such as ESTI.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical‑economic analyses to assess project profitability and sustainability.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in electrical or energy engineering, preferably in medium or high‑voltage environments.
• Strong affinity for technology and IT.
• Autonomous, organized, solution‑oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in French and German; English knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems.
