Senior UX Designer – Dashboards & Web Surfaces

About the role

Scandit is looking for a Senior UX Designer to own the dashboards and web surfaces where its AI model's output becomes a decision made by a person. These are dense operational screens used by retail and logistics teams to plan work, spot exceptions and measure results; they were previously handled by an external design partner, so the designer will rebuild the interaction model for how operators trust, override and act on the system.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX for product areas, from early concept through implementation, with a focus on data visualization dashboards
• Turn complex technical capabilities and dense operational data into simple, powerful experiences through user flows, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, tech leads, QA and field teams to keep the customer workflow coherent and balance UX against technical feasibility and business reality
• De-risk the roadmap with research: scope and brief studies with an external research partner, use field teams for ongoing access to users, and run lightweight studies independently when needed
• Contribute to Scandit's product design system together with the Staff Designer, peers and engineering

Required profile

• 6+ years as a UX Designer in SaaS, enterprise or technology-focused environments, including at least 2 years on data-dense operational surfaces such as analytics, reporting, BI or dashboards
• Demonstrated end-to-end delivery, from research and concepting through detailed design to implementation, across web and mobile products
• Hands-on experience in cross-functional product teams with Product, Engineering and Enterprise Success
• Fluent English and German; occasional travel may be required for field research or onsite collaboration
