Senior Value Engineer - Celonis CoE (Data & AI Focus)

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY HOLDINGS LTD is looking for a Celonis CoE Senior Value Engineer (Data & AI focus) in Zurich. The role designs and maintains data pipelines, models process data and integrates information from core business systems into the Celonis platform, and helps industrialize AI-driven process intelligence for predictive insights, automation and decision support across SCM and other domains.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines that extract, transform and load data from ERP, CRM and other systems into Celonis
• Develop optimized data models supporting process mining, root-cause analysis and AI-driven insights
• Enable AI/ML use cases such as prediction, anomaly detection and root cause analysis by preparing datasets, features and data structures
• Integrate data from SAP, Oracle, databases, APIs and external sources
• Support AI-powered capabilities in Celonis (EMS, action flows, predictive analytics, AI copilots)
• Improve performance of Celonis data models and pipelines, and set up data validation, enrichment and cleansing frameworks
• Partner with Value Engineers and business teams to turn use cases into scalable data and AI solutions, and document pipelines, transformations and model dependencies
• Stay current with Celonis EMS, AI/ML, LLMs and data engineering, and support dashboards, action flows and automations

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, pipelines and ETL
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Celonis experience
• Experience with large-scale ERP environments such as SAP and Oracle
• Strong SQL, relational databases, data modeling and ETL architecture expertise
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience preparing data for AI use cases
• Ability to translate technical and AI concepts into business insights, with excellent English
