SEO Content Writer for Swiss German Market (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an SEO Content Writer to produce high‑quality German‑language content for the Swiss market. The role is remote‑friendly, with quarterly meetings near Luzern, and offers the chance to work closely with an experienced SEO team within a digital marketing agency.

Key responsibilities

• Research and write long‑form articles, blog posts and explanatory pieces primarily in German.
• Optimize all content for search intent, readability and on‑page SEO fundamentals.
• Adapt tone and format to suit diverse topics and target audiences.
• Collaborate with the SEO team on keyword strategy and editorial planning.
• Occasionally produce content in Swiss Standard German when required.

Required profile

• Native‑level proficiency in German / Swiss German.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Interest in or experience with SEO.
• Ability to write clearly on unfamiliar subjects.
• Reliable, self‑directed work style with basic CMS knowledge.

Required skills

• WordPress (or similar CMS) usage.
• Canva or comparable AI‑image creation tools (nice to have).
