Serbian SEO Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Serbian SEO Specialist to join our partner’s digital performance marketing team in Switzerland. The role combines technical SEO knowledge, analytical thinking, and content optimisation to boost search visibility for international clients across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute keyword strategies aligned with business and SEO objectives.
• Conduct keyword research using planners and SEO tools to uncover high‑value opportunities.
• Optimise metadata, on‑page elements and website content for improved rankings.
• Perform SEO copywriting and content optimisation to increase engagement.
• Translate and localise keywords between English and Serbian while maintaining search relevance.
• Manage SEO data, reporting and analysis to track performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to embed SEO best practices across campaigns.
• Test, refine and continuously improve SEO performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Strong understanding of search engine best practices (Google, Bing, etc.).
• Working knowledge of HTML and basic JavaScript for SEO purposes.
• Ability to manage multilingual keyword translation tasks with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Majestic.
• Experience using Google Analytics or similar reporting platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• HTML and basic JavaScript knowledge.
