About the role

ABB is looking for a Shift Leader to supervise production teams in the IPU HPG line. You will ensure efficient use of machinery, maintain quality standards, and support a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

Supervise shift team progress against work plans and ensure proper use of equipment.
Provide regular feedback, recommend improvements, and address critical situations on the production line.
Assist management with staff movements due to vacations, illnesses, or machine outages.
Reinforce focus on volume, efficiency, and on‑time delivery.
Lead the shift in resolving technical, quality, and logistic issues.

Required profile

Minimum 3 + years experience in UPS assembly or civil/industrial electrical field.
Experience with production planning tools and safety checks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and other quality tracking tools.
Fluent in Italian and English.

Required skills

Electronic and mechanical assembly.
Quality inspection and quality‑orientation.
Production planning and time‑keeping.
Use of SAP and quality tracking software.
