About the role
ABB is looking for a Shift Leader to supervise production teams in the IPU HPG line. You will ensure efficient use of machinery, maintain quality standards, and support a hybrid work model.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise shift team progress against work plans and ensure proper use of equipment.
- Provide regular feedback, recommend improvements, and address critical situations on the production line.
- Assist management with staff movements due to vacations, illnesses, or machine outages.
- Reinforce focus on volume, efficiency, and on‑time delivery.
- Lead the shift in resolving technical, quality, and logistic issues.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 + years experience in UPS assembly or civil/industrial electrical field.
- Experience with production planning tools and safety checks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and other quality tracking tools.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
Required skills
- Electronic and mechanical assembly.
- Quality inspection and quality‑orientation.
- Production planning and time‑keeping.
- Use of SAP and quality tracking software.
