Shipping Coordinator

About the role

Flyability is looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join its dynamic team in Lausanne. You will ensure that all shipments align with sales and production schedules, providing smooth delivery experiences for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage international shipments and prepare all required shipping documents (commercial invoice, packing list, EUR1, Certificate of Origin).
• Track deliveries to final customers and coordinate product returns when needed.
• Communicate daily with freight forwarders to resolve customs issues and ensure timely clearance.
• Handle hazardous materials, specifically lithium‑ion batteries, in compliance with regulations.
• Respond to internal and external queries related to imports and exports.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the shipping process.

Required profile

• CFC education or significant experience in international trade and logistics.
• Fluency in French and at least B1 level English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in import/export with solid knowledge of transport and customs.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work flexibly in a fast‑moving environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to process improvement.

Required skills

• ERP experience (Odoo preferred).
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and document tools.
• Customs clearance and international shipping documentation.
• Hazardous materials handling (lithium‑ion batteries).
