Site Manager / Construction Manager (Switzerland)

About the role

agap2, a European engineering services firm, is expanding its Swiss operations and seeks an experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager. You will lead the delivery of complex renovation, fit‑out and new‑build projects for high‑profile office, life‑science and high‑tech customers.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage and coordinate on‑site construction and renovation works.
• Plan, monitor and control schedules, quality, budgets and health & safety compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
• Ensure work follows project plans, technical specifications and client requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical and organisational challenges proactively.
• Lead site meetings, provide progress reports to management and clients.
• Support commissioning, inspections, final acceptance and handover.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager or Bauleiter in Switzerland.
• Proven track record with complex interior fit‑out, office, life‑science or high‑tech projects.
• Strong knowledge of schedule, quality and cost management.
• Experience working with international clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with common project‑management tools.
