Social Media Intern

About the role

Join PMI's Global Communications Social Media team as a Social Media Intern. You will support the creation of engaging content for corporate social media channels and the employee advocacy platform, InsideOut, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor social media trends, emerging formats and platform developments to identify opportunities for the content strategy.
• Research best practices, competitor activities and content trends.
• Support day‑to‑day social media activities and broader projects.
• Create and edit short‑form videos and other engaging content for social media.
• Design graphics, thumbnails and visual assets.
• Write and adapt copy for InsideOut and other social media content.
• Repurpose existing content into social‑first formats for different platforms and audiences.

Required profile

• Good understanding of major social media platforms and their content formats.
• Strong interest in digital culture, social media trends and emerging formats.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and visual storytelling.
• Organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience creating and editing short‑form video content.
• Graphic design experience using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Adobe Express.
• Video editing proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.
