Community Manager

About the role

Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments. As Community Manager you will ensure the company’s public presence is strong and consistent across social platforms, community channels, and events.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day social presence on X and LinkedIn, sharing product updates, customer wins, blog posts, and industry news.
• Run the Proteinbase community, including newsletters, competition updates, designer spotlights, and Slack moderation.
• Own participant‑facing aspects of open competitions and hackathons, from communication and rules to judging logistics and post‑event recaps.
• Tri­age inbound community and customer messages, routing technical queries to the appropriate team members.
• Coordinate with founders and the science team on content strategy, amplification, and timing.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years experience managing social, content, or community for a technical or science‑adjacent organization.
• Strong, distinctive writing voice able to adapt across LinkedIn announcements, customer replies, and community posts.
• Genuine curiosity about biology and AI, with the ability to follow technical conversations in protein design.
• Highly organized, capable of juggling multiple channels, partnerships, and ongoing threads.
• Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment without a fixed editorial calendar.
