Sociology QA Lead - Remote

About the role

This is a remote, hourly contract position where you will lead quality assurance for sociology‑focused AI training projects. You will ensure that all generated content meets rigorous sociological standards and that trainers follow the established guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated sociology content and trainer work against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback to improve accuracy, methodological rigor, and ethical awareness.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA teams.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Activate and manage contributors who are not consistently delivering work.
• Monitor adherence to project‑specific guidelines, formatting, and instruction‑following.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Sociology, Social Sciences, Anthropology or a closely related field.
• Strong command of English for clear written communication.
• 3+ years of experience in sociology research, teaching, policy analysis, or related workflows.
• Deep understanding of sociological theory, research methods, and topics such as inequality, race, gender, culture, and demography.
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and spot methodological or bias‑related issues.
