Software Engineer – AI Brand Visibility

About the role

Adobe’s Brand Visibility team is building AI‑first systems that determine how enterprise brands appear in conversational agents such as ChatGPT and Gemini. As a Software Engineer you will own features end‑to‑end, drive a spec‑driven development lifecycle, and help define how AI‑directed development works in practice.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship features for the Brand Visibility product across backend services and data pipelines.
• Write validation criteria before implementation and use multi‑session patterns for larger workstreams.
• Configure AI harnesses and create guardrails to catch errors early.
• Build API and MCP‑level integrations, ingesting data from SEO/GEO platforms such as Semrush.
• Partner directly with customers for technical discovery, rapid prototyping, and solution validation.
• Document architectural knowledge for AI agents and teammates.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI engineering standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent degree plus experience.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/Node.js or Python.
• Comfortable working across backend and frontend layers.
• Experience with cloud platforms and solid DevOps fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of SEO/GEO concepts and their impact on AI‑driven discovery.
• Ability to translate ambiguous customer problems into clear specifications and prototypes.
