About the role
Google is seeking a Software Engineer III to design and implement capabilities in the Feeds Infrastructure that improve the quality of data in the Shopping Graph. The role involves building robust, reliable, and efficient software that supports high‑performance downstream serving engines for Google Commerce.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for Feeds Infrastructure and enhance data quality in the Shopping Graph.
- Write robust, reliable, efficient, and testable code in Java or C++.
- Participate in design/code reviews, architecture discussions, and infrastructure reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and program management teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of software development experience in Java or C++ (or 1 year with an advanced degree).
- 2+ years using AI tools and platforms to improve efficiency.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Preferred: 2+ years experience with data structures and algorithms.
