Solution Manager - Architect (Avaloq)

About the role

Avaloq, a Swiss provider of wealth management technology for financial institutions, is looking for an experienced Solution Manager - Architect with deep Avaloq expertise to join its team in Zurich. You will design, architect and oversee the implementation of banking solutions on the Avaloq platform, acting as a technical leader who bridges business requirements and technical execution.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end banking solutions using Avaloq capabilities and best practices
• Analyse complex business requirements and turn them into detailed technical specifications and solution designs
• Lead solution implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards and stakeholder satisfaction
• Work with business analysts, developers and QA professionals to execute solution roadmaps
• Mentor development teams and conduct solution reviews to find optimisation opportunities
• Present technical concepts and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Customise and configure Avaloq modules, document architectures and design decisions, and support pre-sales with technical advice

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience implementing and configuring Avaloq
• Proven expertise in banking and financial services solution architecture
• Demonstrated experience managing complex solution implementations from design through deployment
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements and industry standards
• Fluency in German is a strong bonus
