Solutions Architect – Hybrid (Bern, Zurich, Basel)

About the role

As a Solutions Architect you will design digital platforms together with engineering teams and business stakeholders. You will shape new business solutions while acting as a technical leader and mentor for less‑experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead teams through the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and delivery.
• Advise clients on technology and architecture, create strategic roadmaps, provide technical recommendations and support implementation.
• Support pre‑sales activities such as RFP responses, proof‑of‑concepts and cloud solution design with a focus on security, scalability, compliance, performance and cost optimisation.
• Contribute to architecture best practices and promote technical excellence across the organisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field (University / ETH / University of Applied Sciences).
• 6+ years of experience designing and delivering complex software solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed systems, scalability, reliability and observability.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, automated testing and code quality.
• Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
