Specialist Capacity Planner

About the role

The Specialist Capacity Planner ensures smooth and timely material flow across the intralogistics network of a GMP‑manufacturing BioPlant. Acting as the nervous system of internal flow, the role coordinates real‑time physical capacity and material movement to maintain operational continuity and improve supply‑chain agility.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze inbound delivery volumes and outbound order forecasts to forecast space and labor needs for upcoming days and weeks.
• Balance inbound and outbound schedules, orchestrate dock operations, and monitor goods movement from receiving through put‑away to shipping.
• Rapidly resolve logistical disruptions such as late trucks, minimizing impact on warehouse flow.
• Optimize Stock Transfer Orders (STO) by balancing service‑level targets, warehouse capacity and sampling requirements across internal and 3PL networks.
• Establish and track core KPI metrics (Dock‑to‑Stock, PO picking lines, pallet utilization, STO health, labor capacity forecasting) to drive efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in warehousing or supply planning within a GMP‑manufacturing environment, preferably pharma/biotech.
• Fluent in French; English is a plus.
• Resilient, results‑driven mindset capable of delivering under pressure in a fast‑paced, highly regulated setting.

Required skills

• Proven expertise with MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP/EWM.
• Strong collaboration abilities to align Supply Chain, Warehouse and 3PL partners.
• Problem‑solving skills for capacity bottlenecks and workload surges.
