Specialist Tax Reporting Crossborder

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Tax Reporting Crossborder to join an international bank in Zurich. The role focuses on overseeing tax reporting, reclaim processes and regulatory compliance for a range of jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production of client tax reports for multiple legislations and manage the full tax reclaim cycle.
• Supervise outsourcing partners related to tax reclaims and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Handle Swiss stamp duty (Form 9) and supplementary tax (Form 182) processing.
• Monitor and update withholding tax rates in line with double‑taxation agreements.
• Assist with US regulatory reporting such as FATCA and QI.
• Act as single point of contact for relationship managers, institutional clients and senior management inquiries.
• Monitor automatic exchange of information processes, including CRS reporting, and oversee FinfraG, MiFIR and EMIR transaction reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and transaction‑related tax reporting obligations.
• Manage technical implementation of existing or new tax reporting processes and contribute to international tax projects.

Required profile

• University studies in Business Law, Taxation or Accounting.
• Current knowledge of Swiss tax regulations and related banking processes.
• Generalist expertise in CRS, FATCA/QI and related frameworks.
• Professional experience in a bank, asset manager, consulting or audit environment.
• Understanding of investment products and their taxation.
• Analytical, discreet and highly service‑oriented personality.
• Ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to clients and senior management.
• Independent, proactive work style with strong teamwork focus.
• Flair for IT systems and strong command of MS Word and MS Excel.
• Fluent in English and German.
