Staff Android Engineer

About the role

This senior position is focused on shaping enterprise‑grade mobile experiences powered by AI‑driven market intelligence. Based in Switzerland, you will own and evolve the Android platform architecture that supports fast, secure, and reliable decision‑making workflows for thousands of enterprise customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve modular Android architecture, engineering standards, and scalable native patterns.
• Lead end‑to‑end Android system design, translating complex product and technical requirements into production‑grade solutions.
• Shape testing strategies, release processes, observability, automation, and AI‑supported validation frameworks.
• Collaborate with backend, iOS, product, and design teams to maintain clear mobile system contracts.
• Introduce reusable patterns and technical standards to elevate engineering quality across teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in modern Android development with a proven track record of owning architecture or leading platform‑level initiatives.
• Strong understanding of mobile system design, API contracts, backend interactions, and cross‑platform trade‑offs.
• Ability to debug backend systems when needed to resolve mobile‑facing challenges.
• Experience improving release reliability, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and production observability.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication skills and experience mentoring engineers.
