Staff NPI Test Engineer – High‑Speed Mixed‑Signal/RF (V93000)

About the role

Semtech is looking for a Staff NPI Test Engineer to lead test development for its mixed‑signal and RF product portfolio. You will own test solutions from early silicon validation through high‑volume production, working on a range that spans ultra‑low‑power LoRa to 200 Gbps high‑speed communications.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in new product design meetings to drive analog and digital DFT techniques.
• Develop and implement high‑speed test solutions on the Advantest V93000 platform at package and wafer level.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess designs and provide feedback based on ATE results.
• Create reliability screening solutions for product qualification and life‑testing.
• Deploy test solutions to offshore OSATs and support ramp‑up to full production.
• Lead periodic test review meetings and drive continuous test time and yield improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of ATE semiconductor testing experience, preferably with V93000.
• Experience testing high‑speed mixed‑signal ICs and supporting offshore test locations.
• Knowledge of high‑speed PCB design concepts and schematic‑level hardware design.
