Strategic Buyer – Construction Services (80-100%)

About the role

Endress+Hauser seeks a Strategic Buyer for Construction Services to lead procurement activities for complex construction projects. The role offers high autonomy and the chance to shape supplier strategies across global sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction services, focusing on cost optimization and risk management.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement for strategic investment projects, including new builds, conversions and refurbishments.
• Oversee the full procurement cycle from demand identification to invoice verification, handling negotiations and contract management.
• Act as the primary contact for procurement topics across global production sites and support site planning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction, facility management or a comparable field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction services and international project management.
• Strong analytical, structured work style with ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
• Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of RFI/RFP processes and CapEx investment environments.
• Experience with supplier evaluation, contract negotiation and performance management.
